POLYURETHANE
DESCRIPTION :
A MIXTURE OF MATERIALS OR THE END PRODUCT OF SEPARATING RUBBER AND PLASTIC TO CREATE A DISSOLUTION OF A MATERIAL WITH THE BENEFITS OF BEING EXTREMELY FRICTION- AND WEAR-RESISTANT, RESISTANT TO SOME MILD CHEMICALS, AND STABLE IN BOTH COLD AND HOT TEMPERATURES.A CHEMICAL OR COMBINATION THAT IS COMPOSED OF OXYGEN, NITROGEN, AND CARBON DIOXIDE.
IN ADDITION TO RUBBER, POLYURETHANE IS ONE OF THE MOST WIDELY UTILIZED MATERIALS FOR ENGINE MOUNTING. POLYURETHANE, SOMETIMES KNOWN AS PU, IS A POLYMER COMBINATION OF PLASTIC AND RUBBER THAT HAS CHARACTERISTICS COMPARABLE TO RUBBER BUT IS HARDER.
POLYURETHANE HARDNESS GRADE :
A PRODUCT'S HARDNESS CAN BE CHANGED FROM 45 TO 100 BY EMPLOYING POLYURETHANE MATERIAL.
SHORE A AND SHORE D-PRODUCED POLYURETHANE (SHORE D IS MORE EXPENSIVE AND TOUGHER THAN SHORE A).
BENEFIT :
SUPERIOR TO COMPETING MATERIALS (RUBBER, IRON, WOOD AND PLASTIC)
IT IS DIFFICULT TO WEAR BECAUSE OF THE HIGH LEVEL OF ABRASION RESISTANCE
FLEXIBLE UNDER EXTREMELY COLD CONDITIONS DOWN TO 0 DEGREES CELSIUS
UP TO 100 DEGREES CELSIUS, FLEXIBLE IN HIGH TEMPERATURES
RESISTANT TO A VARIETY OF MILD SUBSTANCES, SUCH AS GREASE AND OIL
THE MATERIAL IS STRONGER THAN RUBBER AND IS NOT EASILY TORN
