GLASSWOOL
DESCRIPTION :
GLASS FIBERS ARE ORGANIZED WITH THE HELP OF A BINDER TO CREATE GLASS WOOL, AN INSULATING MATERIAL WITH A TEXTURE RESEMBLING WOOL. THE PROCEDURE CREATES NUMEROUS TINY AIR GAPS BETWEEN THE GLASS, AND THESE AIR POCKETS PRODUCE EXCELLENT THERMAL INSULATION CAPABILITIES. GLASS WOOL IS MADE AS SLABS OR ROLLS, WITH VARIOUS MECHANICAL AND THERMAL CHARACTERISTICS. ON THE SURFACE TO BE INSULATED, IT MAY ALTERNATIVELY BE CREATED AS A MATERIAL THAT MAY BE SPRAYED ON OR APPLIED DIRECTLY.
