THE V-PLOUGH CONVEYOR BELT CLEANER IS MOUNTED JUST PRIOR TO THE TAIL PULLEY ON THE RETURN SIDE OF THE BELT. ITS PURPOSE IS TO REMOVE DEBRIS THAT LANDS ON THE CONVEYOR BELT'S RETURN SIDE AND MIGHT PASS BETWEEN THE BELT AND TAIL PULLEY. A SUFFICIENT AMOUNT OF MATERIAL CAN CAUSE WEAR, AND BIGGER LUMPS CAUSE HOLES IN THE BELT.
